The only hiccups happened when I reached the ‘rolling’ out the dough stage. I, uh, didn’t have a rolling pin. I know, right? Some master chef right here. I did have one, you see, but having recently relocated, I believe I left it at my old roomie’s. So, when it came time to get rollin’, I McGuyver-ed my way round it and used a water bottle. And lo and behold, it worked just fine.

A couple of days after, I made some chocolate candy hearts for my boyfriend’s niece’s birthday. Simple, adorable and took about three minutes to make.

I literally just nuked the pink chocolate pieces (purchased at Michael’s) in the microwave, mixed it and poured it into some heart-shaped candy molds. Finito.
